PROGRESS is defined as a positive development, usually of a gradual kind, towards achieving a goal or reaching a higher standard. My role at Per¬sonnel Staffers is to keep our company moving in the right direction. I do that by trying to stay attuned to what software our clients are using and what testing software best can help match employee to employer.
Before Personnel Staffers opened our office almost 15 years ago, PROGRESS in the office environment had developed over the years from using typewriters to expensive word processing equipment and finally to DOS com¬puters. Being able to eliminate time-consuming retyping by deleting words or cutting, copying or moving information was just AMAZING! When Personnel Staffers chose McMurray to provide staffing to local businesses, we were in¬strumental in providing Windows training to their employees, and again, this was PROGRESS.
We see PROGRESS every day in helping our employees become the best they can be. Personnel Staffers offers software tutorials to help each associate become even more effective on the job. We also pro¬vide onsite testing to employers in order to evaluate potential and existing employ¬ees’ knowledge.
"I have the best job in the world" – not only because of the PROGRESS Personnel Staffers has made with software training and skills evaluation, but also for the PROGRESS we make every time we place an associate in a Direct Hire or Temporary position, or when a Temp-to-Hire position turns permanent. My advice to you, is to find PROGRESS in your job so you too, can say, "I have the best job in the world"!
Whether you're an employee or the owner of your own company, find something in your job that makes your job – the best job in the world! It doesn’t have to be the salary – maybe it’s being close to home, the flexible hours, the people you work with, or something that just makes you wake up in the morning looking forward to your workday. To me, that's PROGRESS…
